Senior Engineering Manager

Overview

Responsible for leading and directing a team of Engineering Managers or discipline Engineers on large‑scale multi‑disciplined projects to ensure high levels of communication, coordination, quality, and delivery from design conception through completion. Will act as the subject‑matter expert and key interface point and liaison between the Engineering Team and the Project Operations team, as well as between the Engineering team and the Client.

Location: This position can be located at one of our office locations daily:
Fargo, ND;
Indianapolis, IN;
Clinton, IN; or Phoenix, AZ. The position may be open to remote with 20% travel but preference will go to someone able to be in the office.

• Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
• Support the implementation of industry best practices with a mindset of continuous improvement.
• Act as an Industry Representative for Mas Tec Renewables, both internally and externally, including trade shows, conferences, and interfaces with vendors and Engineers of Record.
• Follow, develop, improve, and maintain processes and systems utilized by the company to perform engineering related tasks and functions.
• Lead the Engineering team on multiple concurrent projects and interface with internal and external customers from conceptual design phase during bidding through construction execution phase and project closeout.
• Lead, direct, and mentor a team of engineering managers and design engineers, including identifying and assigning team training as needed.
• Assign project resources at proposal, engineering, and construction phases of projects.
• Identify, author, and manage appropriate Mas Tec Renewables engineering initiatives.
• Engage in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
• Attend pre‑construction and project meetings to lead discussions with multiple Mas Tec Renewables stakeholders, including Mas Tec Renewables site teams, clients, consultants, suppliers and electric utilities.
• Review all engineering bids for scope and compliance with contract documents and participate in subcontractor scope clarification.
• Establish and manage a construction and engineering schedule to include design construction documents; permits, submittals and approvals and construction activities.
