Project Controls Specialist – Water/Wastewater

Advance your career as a Project Controls Specialist – Build expertise and support the future of water infrastructure. Partners with the Water/Wastewater Team in Indianapolis, Evansville, Miami, Wilmington, or Tampa to strengthen systems that deliver clean, dependable water to communities.

• Assist in preparing proposals, developing scope, schedules, and budgets with technical and market teams.
• Address client needs and resolve project issues with professionalism and care.
• Support planning and implementation of water/wastewater projects from inception to completion, tracking deliverables and reporting progress.
• Create project timelines and schedules with minimal supervision.
• Facilitate communication between office and field staff, ensuring daily operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Support compliance with specifications and project schedule and budget requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, business, finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience with a proven ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule of technical tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software required; knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high‑paced environment.
• Motivated self‑starter who works well independently and supports management.
• Adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem‑solving and negotiation.
• PMP certification preferred.

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
