. In this full‑time role you will design, manufacture, and support Marine Gas Turbine and Generator Set control‑system hardware and software. - Review and agree control and monitoring system requirements, including their testability
- Design and implement control and monitoring systems to meet customer requirements and associated standards
- Analyze the control and monitoring system functional behavior, including modeling and simulation, to demonstrate that the design meets the requirements
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, customers, and operators to understand the full system and facilitate effective control system design
- Troubleshoot software and hardware control system issues methodically and communicate corrective actions in a timely manner
- Produce clear and concise reports documenting the work carried out
- Prepare and deliver presentations of technical material to engineering and non‑engineering audiences
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Basic Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with at least 1 year of systems engineering experience
- Master’s Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering
- Ph.D. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering
- U.S. citizenship required for eligibility
- 2+ years of controls systems experience
- Knowledge of gas turbine engines, generators, and their control
- Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, JMP, etc.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis and other problem‑solving techniques
- Highly self‑motivated with a demonstrated ability to manage tasks to completion and to keep relevant stakeholders informed
- Comfortable working within a team‑oriented, collaborative environment or as a sole contributor on assigned projects

Pay Range: $70,629 – $105,943 annually
