As a CMC (Ceramic Matrix Composites) Materials Process Engineer, you will use your knowledge and expertise to execute tasks on the development of materials, processes, models and analysis methods, the application of materials to the design, test, manufacture, and service operation of systems, the approval, validation and control of raw materials and / or component manufacturing processes, and the execution of failure or defect investigations.

In this role, you will also provide knowledge, expertise and guidance in chemistry and/or corrosion disciplines deployed in the support of the full product life cycle.

** What you will be doing
*** Resolve problems through evaluative judgements. Analyze information from multiple sources, interprets results and identifies effective solutions by applying their own technical knowledge, expertise and engineering judgement.
* Be responsible for defined technical packages of work providing leadership and delivery against program milestones within agreed costs, timescales and quality requirements.
* Act as the point of contact within Materials Engineering and to share subject matter knowledge across the function. This may include providing advisory services to designated customers, influencing their peer group, representing senior departmental staff and acting as advisor / coach on matters where they are technically authoritative.
* Understand company business objectives and ensure that the work they do supports this;

* Actively promote, encourage and support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement both within and outside their immediate sphere and prompt action across the wider team.
