We are currently looking for an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to support our customers within the Strategic Microelectronics Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane.

The selected candidate will perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis or review team.

Position Responsibilities:

* Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks under some supervision
* Support radiation testing of microelectronic components
* Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review.
* Generate sections of design specifications for more complex projects or complete specifications of less complex projects.
* Prepare, deliver and submit technical presentations for in-process design and review meetings.
* Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
* Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in electrical or nuclear engineering or physics
* Good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
* Ability to travel, as required.
* U.S. citizenship.
* Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance with an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in electrical engineering and 3 or more years of job-related experience.
* Experience in modeling and simulation, experimental design, or testing of radiation-hardened electronics.
* Experience with hardware security and trusted electronics issues.
* Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes
