We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) team, supporting CMM and GOM Inspection.

With this new role, you’ll have an opportunity to work on the following:

• Support Manufacturing Component Owner in DFM sessions for CMC components to improve manufacturability.
• Work with component design engineering to define the best dimensioning scheme around functional needs, design intent, limitations of GDT, and current measurement technologies.
• Create characteristic matrix plans for component design.
• Collaborate with HTC team and design teams to transition new products from development to manufacturing.

• Support Capability Acquisition Lead Engineer to specify and procure measurement equipment to industrialize the inspection of CMC products.

• Complete MSA studies and inspection plans.
• Define and implement pre‑ and post‑coating inspection methods.
• Create and implement visual inspection techniques utilizing the latest automation technologies.

• Associate’s Degree plus 3 years of related engineering experience
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 1 year of related engineering experience
• Master’s Degree
• JD/Ph.D.
• In lieu of a degree, 5 years of related engineering experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

• Experience with Zeiss Calypso software and Siemens NX
• Experience with GOM
• Understanding of Windows computer systems, file permissions, and network drives
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies
• Experience with aerospace materials, tolerances and processes, PFMEA, PPAP, Process Excellence (Six Sigma), and Lean Manufacturing best practices is strongly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as are interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects/programs.
• Experience in the management and implementation of manufacturing technologies and processes using an MRCL or Technology Readiness Level (TRL) gated process would be an advantage.

Pay Range $70,629 - $114,772 annually
