OverviewAs a Senior Structural Engineer on the Advanced Manufacturing team, you will work on a variety of data center projects, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, and more. You will perform structural engineering assignments, deepening your knowledge of design methods and tools, and collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and designers across local and international offices.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of structural analysis tasks.
- Create computer models for structures.
- Perform calculations for member designs, foundations, material take‑offs for estimating, miscellaneous calculations, and schedule assistance.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Eight or more years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Micro Station, S3D).
- Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
- Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other relevant design codes.
- Knowledge and application of building codes.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, including MS Teams.
- Ability to travel 10% to 20% to client sites.
- Master of Science in Engineering.
- Experience with industrial metal projects (casting, rolling operations, or similar heavy‑industrial projects).
- Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations.
