** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) team, supporting the Chemical Vapour Infiltration (CVI) process. This role focuses on scaling, optimizing, and sustaining high-temperature composite manufacturing used in next-generation aerospace applications. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, root cause investigations, and production readiness of CVI-related operations.

** What you will be doing:
*** With this new role, you’ll have an opportunity to work on the following:
*** Process Development & Optimization
*** Support and improve CVI process parameters, cycle times, and product quality.
* Collaborate with materials, R&D, and design teams to transition new products from development to manufacturing.
* Define and implement process controls and lean manufacturing principles.
** Production Support
*** Provide day-to-day technical support to CVI operations to resolve production issues.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, throughput, and cycle time.
* Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances.
** Documentation & Compliance:
*** Author and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturing instructions, and process documentation.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to high-temperature and reactive gas processes. Rigorously raise, investigate and resolve safety related issues.
** Equipment & Facility Interface:
*** Support maintenance and upgrades of CVI furnaces and related process equipment.
* Participate in commissioning of new tools and process lines.
** Continuous Improvement:
*** Utilize Six Sigma, 5S, PFMEA, and other quality tools to identify and execute process improvements.
* Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and capacity expansion planning. Responsible for self-development to meet the required competencies for the role. Continuously seek to expand knowledge and experience to increase effectiveness in undertaking existing and new activities.

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of engineering experience, OR
