Position: Senior Systems Engineer with Security Clearance
Location: Crane

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer (PNT) to join our team in Crane, IN. This is a 100% on-site position. This role will be providing mission critical PNT engineering expertise to NAVSEA/SOCOM engineering efforts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.

* Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.

* Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.

* Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems.

* Assist in equipment operation and data collection during the support of field events

* Analysis of system modifications effectiveness in comparison to performance metrics

* Develop test plans into test cases

* Travel up to 25% within the continental United States

Minimum Qualifications:

* MS/MA degree in Engineering or Engineering Discipline

* 10+ years of experience performing work in the Systems Engineering field

* Familiarity with Precision, Navigation, Timing (PNT) aspects, to include M-Code, IMU, INS, clocks

* 5+ years of experience managing critical engineering tasking in support of technical reviews (CDR/PDR, TRR, RRE, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience supporting Alternate PNT systems

* 3+ years of experience briefing Senior Military and Civil Service personnel

* Experience supporting NAVSEA/SOCOM engineering efforts Clearance Requirements:
* U.S. Citizen and possess an active current Top-Secret clearance, with ability to obtain SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements:

* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

* Occasionally move about inside the laboratory environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
