We are seeking an Adjunct Professor to teach online courses in accounting, business, or finance disciplines. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality instruction in an asynchronous environment and supporting student learning through timely communication and feedback.
Responsibilities- Teach 3 to 18 semester hours per academic year in assigned business-related courses.
- Develop course syllabi and administer assessments of student learning.
- Provide high-quality instruction and maintain professional effectiveness, including:
- Intellectual integrity and professional currency.
- Openness to adopting improved teaching methods.
- Respond to students promptly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Collaborate professionally with faculty and staff in a collegial environment.
- Design new courses as needed.
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a business-related field.
- Effective presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities for asynchronous teaching.
- Ability to evaluate student work and provide meaningful feedback.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas).
- Ability to work cooperatively and adapt to evolving teaching environments.
