Park Tudor School seeks a highly motivated and results-driven Campaign Major Gifts Officer (CMGO) to serve as a frontline fundraiser for the School’s comprehensive capital campaign, scheduled to conclude in December 2030. This fixed-term role will play a critical part in securing leadership-level gifts in support of Park Tudor’s strategic priorities.
Reporting to the Assistant Head of School for External Affairs, the CMGO will manage a portfolio of high-capacity prospects, drive major gift solicitations, and help ensure the overall success of the campaign. Contingent on performance and long-term institutional fundraising needs, this role may transition into a permanent Major Gifts Officer position following the conclusion of the campaign, offering a compelling opportunity for continuity and career growth within the Park Tudor community.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of approximately 150-175 major gift prospects and donors aligned with campaign priorities.
- Qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of making leadership and principal gifts.
- Develop and implement individualized campaign engagement and solicitation strategies focused on multi-year pledges and naming opportunities.
- Prepare campaign-specific proposals, gift agreements, and stewardship plans.
- Track donor interactions, moves management activity, and outcomes using the School’s CRM and campaign reporting tools.
- Ensure exceptional, campaign-focused stewardship of major donors, including personalized communications, impact reporting, and recognition tied to campaign outcomes.
- Support cross-functional campaign initiatives, including special projects, leadership gift strategies, and grant‑seeking as assigned.
- Contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability, and campaign urgency within the Advancement Office.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Head of School for External Affairs or their designee.
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience, with a demonstrated track record of securing significant gifts.
- Capital campaign experience is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to travel locally and regularly within the United States, with frequency varying based on assigned donor portfolio; evening and weekend work as needed.
- Professionalism and discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Willingness to engage in all aspects of the Park Tudor community while promoting the School’s mission, vision, and values.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and the scope of the campaign role. Park Tudor offers comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, professional development support, and generous time off. Employment is expected to continue through December 2030, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent Major Gifts Officer role based on performance, campaign outcomes, and the School’s long-term advancement strategy.
