Salary/Hourly Rate: The teacher salary schedule is based on teaching experience and starts at Bachelor's $53,000 / Master's $54,000 with 0 years of experience.

Job Expectations & Requirements Position Purpose / DescriptionThe Teacher is responsible for teaching groups of students in a classroom setting, based on a curriculum and supported by instructional materials. The Teacher is responsible for developing daily lesson plans to ensure that the Teacher covers the curricular content in a timely manner throughout the semester or school year. The Teacher uses various instructional methods and techniques to meet the unique needs of the individual students and to assess their learning;
the Teacher modifies instruction, re-teaches and remediates to ensure the students' success.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver standards-aligned instruction that meets the diverse learning needs of students in assigned subject area(s)
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress through multiple measures, maintaining accurate records and providing timely feedback to students and families
- Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, social-emotional development, and academic achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, support staff, and caregivers to support student learning
- Supervise students during non-instructional time, including hallway transitions, lunch periods, or assigned duties before and after school
- Maintain classroom materials and technology
- Submit required documentation in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by building administration
- Deep content knowledge in assigned subject area(s) and understanding of adolescent development and evidence-based instructional practices
- Ability to differentiate instruction for students with varying academic levels, English language learners, students with disabilities, and other diverse learners
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with students, families, and colleagues, maintaining professional standards
- Proficiency with instructional technology, learning management systems, and data analysis tools to enhance instruction and track student outcomes
