Instructor of Practice in Business

Job Description

The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for an Instructor in Practice for the joint program at Ningbo Tech University in Ningbo, China. Ningbo Tech is a Chinese university situated in the Ningbo Higher Education Zone. Ningbo is a coastal city with excellent transportation, restaurants, shopping and easy access by high-speed train to Shanghai. The Instructor of Business will be responsible for teaching classes in English in various business disciplines.

• Preference will be given to candidates with significant professional experience in business. Previous teaching experience and quality teaching, as well as experience in overseas teaching are desirable.

• A minimum of an MBA or a master’s degree in a business‑related field.

• Follow the guidance and direction of supervisor(s)
• Demonstrate respectful, ethical, responsible behavior.
• Abide by the University’s policies, procedures, and rules.
• Perform employee responsibilities as detailed in employee handbooks and policies.
• Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
