The Training and Staff Development Consultant manages the design and implementation of training programs that incorporate appropriate delivery and methodology, technical understanding, and training materials. You will work independently on specific projects but will receive guidance from the Training and Development Manager who reviews work projects for compliance with BMV's promise, goals, objectives, and policies.
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222 but may be commensurate with education and experience.
- Partner with others to understand their specific training and staff development needs, conducting thorough needs assessments and gap analyses.
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs that align with company goals and employee development needs.
- Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, case studies, and simulations.
- Provide expert guidance on the most effective training methods, formats, and delivery options based on the client's objectives and resources.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, adjusting content and delivery as needed.
- Deliver high-impact training sessions using a variety of facilitation techniques, ensuring active participation and skill acquisition.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in training and development, bringing fresh ideas to client engagements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Assist clients in establishing career development paths and strategies to foster employee growth and retention.
- Offer insights and recommendations on improving existing training programs and processes.
- Prepare detailed training proposals, including scope, objectives, methodologies, and timelines.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, maintaining clear communication and meeting project deadlines.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in the field of training and staff development.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours that may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and/or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
