The Financial Services Academyis a division of the Indiana Bankers Association Foundation providing a state-approved, statewide-accredited apprenticeship program for high school students with the goal of workforce readiness and employment in financial services industries.
The Indiana Bankers Associationsupports Indiana banks through advocacy, professional education, and products and services. Its mission is to advocate for and sustain an environment in which banks can succeed.

Job OverviewReporting to the Curriculum & Pathway Director, this position will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of curriculum for financial services apprenticeship programs. This role will assist in ensuring curriculum aligns with industry needs, state educational standards, and apprenticeship requirements while supporting continuous program improvement. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with education, industry, and training partners to maintain high-quality instructional materials and learning experiences for apprentices across the state.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about workforce development and student success.
- Assist in the development, review and continuous improvement of apprenticeship curriculum, coursework, and instructional materials aligned with financial services industry needs.
- Support the alignment of curriculum with state education standards, industry-recognized credentials, and apprenticeship requirements.
- Maintain consistent curriculum formatting and documentation across all apprenticeship materials.
- Assist in developing and updating training plans, assessments, and instructional resources for use by training coordinators.
- Conduct research on industry trends, regulations, and educational best practices to inform curriculum enhancements.
- Participate in curriculum committee meetings along with other meetings with financial institutions, educators, and workforce partners to ensure curriculum remains relevant and effective.
- Support implementation of curriculum across participating employers while engaging high school and postsecondary partners.
- Provide instructional support for curriculum-related trainings and professional development including onboarding and supporting employer partners.
- Track and maintain curriculum records, feedback, and assessment data to support students, school partners, and employers.
- Ability to analyze information and support development of structured academic or training programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with learning management systems.
- Strong collaboration and relationship skills with the ability to work with diverse partners including educators and industry professionals.
- Two years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or training initiatives.
- Experience training individuals including leading workshops or other educational programming.
- Experience working with financial services, apprenticeships, or secondary/postsecondary education (preferred).
- Associate degree or equivalent in education, instructional design, curriculum, learning & development, human resources, or related field (preferred).
