- Serves part of the day as an instructional assistant for the K-5 Trauma and Behavior Program and the other part of the day as the Middle School SUCCESS Program virtual learning monitor.
- Contribute to a positive school family culture.
- Build a trusting and safe environment for all students.
- Establish positive relationships with students, staff, and their families.
- Participate in family/school partnership events to increase engagement.
- Provide effective student support, following the goals as written in the IEP, LEP, 504, and/or MTSS plan.
- Perform all duties as indicated by the supervising teachers and the administration.
- Supervise students at all times and maintain a safe and controlled environment.
- The preferred candidate will be a licensed elementary teacher; at least 48 college credits; an associate’s degree or willing to take and achieve a passing score on the Para Pro Assessment prior to beginning work.
- The preferred candidate will have experience working with elementary aged children.
- The preferred candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively.
