Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position located in Indianapolis, IN for a Professor of Practice in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. The professor will be responsible for helping to lead a non-thesis I/O master s program, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, mentoring students, and engaging in service-related activities within the department and university. Responsibilities may also include developing and enhancing course materials, contributing to the department s academic initiatives, and fostering partnerships between the university and external organizations.
Qualifications- Strong expertise and experience in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, including teaching and applied practice.
- Proficiency in research methods, data analysis, and core concepts in psychology as they relate to organizations and workplace environments.
- Excellent communication skills, mentorship abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative and engaging course content.
- A track record of building partnerships with academic, community, or industry partners is desirable.
- A doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a closely related field is required.
