• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid teaching license (or willingness to obtain one)
• Willingness to build and maintain a cooperative relationship with a co‑teacher
• Competency in using technology in the classroom
• Strong desire to work within an innovative, urban educational program
• Ability to lead a classroom using an age‑appropriate curriculum

• Collaborate as a co‑teacher, maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships.
• Use the state standards and curriculum to develop rigorous, objective‑driven lessons aligned with school‑provided curriculum maps; upload lesson internalization plans weekly.
• Present academic content through a variety of instructional strategies to reach all learners.
• Differentiated lessons for individual students based on their unique learning needs.
• Implement classroom procedures, systems, and routines that provide structure and maximize instructional time.
• Regularly assess and track student performance toward ambitious academic outcomes.
• Use data to reflect on lesson effectiveness and student progress to improve instruction and practice.
• Receive and implement feedback from manager, coach, and/or peers.
• Build meaningful, positive relationships with all students.
• Use restorative practices to build positive classroom culture.
