Position SummaryThe Indiana University School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, is seeking a board-certified general surgeon with a completed fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology with clinical experience in managing cutaneous malignancies, retroperitoneal sarcoma and gastrointestinal cancer including peritoneal surface malignancy. This clinical-track faculty position will hold appointments at the Indiana University Health Adult Academic Health Center and the Indiana University Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center.
This faculty position will be responsible for providing patient care, teaching residents and students, and participating in clinical and translational research within the Division of Surgical Oncology. This is a full-time position. Salary, research funding, and academic rank will be commensurate with past experience.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care for complex general surgical oncology cases.
- Teach residents and students in surgical oncology.
- Participate in clinical and translational research within the Division of Surgical Oncology.
- MD or terminal degree required.
- Must have completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship with extensive training in the management of cutaneous and gastrointestinal malignancies.
- Board certified in general surgery.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, an unrestricted medical license in the State of Indiana.
