Position Overview
Indiana University Health Medical Group and the IU School of Medicine Division of Cardiovascular Medicine are seeking a Non‑Invasive/General Cardiologist with a strong interest in Preventative Cardiology, Lipidology and/or Hypertension. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in joining an established team working in a prevention and advanced lipid clinic with established referral patterns from across the state.
Position Details- Outpatient and inpatient settings serving patients with the full spectrum of cardiovascular conditions
- Close clinical collaboration with genetic counseling team for inherited cholesterol disorders
- Access to state‑of‑the‑art cardiovascular diagnostics and therapeutics
- Teaching opportunities with fellows, residents and medical students and opportunities to work with research scientists, graduate students and postdoctoral trainees
- Must be MD or DO
- BE/BC in Cardiology and Echocardiography
- Active, extramurally‑funded research is a plus
- Commitment to the tripartite scholarly missions
- Collegiality and professionalism with multidisciplinary team members required
