Indiana University Health, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seeking a Hospitalist to join our team at the Academic Health Center in downtown Indianapolis at University and Methodist Hospitals. This position will see a diverse, complex patient population at the Pre-Operative Assessment clinics to provide medical optimization prior to elective and semi-urgent procedures and surgeries including Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Urology, Peripheral Vascular, General, GYN, Plastic, Hepatobiliary, and ENT.

- Join a well-established, supportive team of physicians and advanced providers at a large academic tertiary center
- Full-time 4 day workweek with 10 hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.
- Perform medical history review, physical examination assessment, diagnostic and other pertinent testing; education to patient and families on medications, diet changes, and overall pre-surgery preparation for optimal surgery outcomes.
- ABMS Internal Medicine Residency
- PAT or in-patient experience, 3+ years preferred
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
