Indiana University Health is seeking an Infectious Disease physician to join our growing team in Indianapolis, IN. This position includes a 50% Infection Prevention Directorship for our Indianapolis suburban hospitals, with the remaining 50% for general consultative service. The role offers a unique split focus of 50% infection prevention and 50% clinical infectious diseases. It includes a faculty position with the Indiana University School of Medicine and participation in the academic Division of Infectious Diseases.
Position Details:
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, with one weekend per month
- 50% Clinical Practice
- Approximately 23 weeks per year of inpatient consultative service
- 2 hours per week outpatient clinic
- Inpatient Practice Locations include IUH North, IUH West, IUH Fishers, Orthoindy Hospitals (x2), Franciscan Hospitals (x3)
- 50% Infection Prevention Directorship
- IU Health North, IU Health West, IU Health Saxony
- Overnight call once per week
- 6 weeks of vacation during the 2-year guarantee period
- Cover one holiday per year
- Eligible for IU School of Medicine benefits
Qualifications:
- Infectious Diseases fellowship, required
- Infectious Diseases BE/BC, required
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for licensure
