Job DescriptionWe are seeking a CAD Drafter to be responsible for the production and maintenance of residential working drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software platforms. The applicant must be skilled in AutoCAD and Revit and have a working knowledge of Single Family and Multi Family Residential construction.
Responsibilities- Using AutoCAD, produce and maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maximize team productivity and deliver professional integrity.
- May be asked to review and approve the work of third‑party design consultants.
- Present work to ensure satisfaction or make revisions as necessary.
- Knowledge of field concepts, practices and procedures.
- Perform a variety of tasks and offer extensive problem‑solving skill set.
- Ensure architectural work is completed on time.
- Maintain CAD standards and specifications.
- Knowledge of code compliance in all jurisdictions; city, county, state, international.
- Prepare CAD drawings for submittals, permit approvals, field change orders, and construction documents.
- File management.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in drafting/design for a high‑volume production homebuilding operation.
- Two to four (2–4) years of AutoCAD (or higher) experience in architectural discipline preferred.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Architecture, Drafting/Design or a related discipline.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to perform accurate, consistent, and detail‑oriented work with simultaneous deadlines.
- Highly motivated.
- Ability to handle constructive feedback and work in a team environment.
