Dentistry
- Delivers direct patient care using established dental hygienist procedures
- Performs procedures associated with the conduct of a denture adhesive study
- Performs basic clinical research procedures such as placing and removing specimens from partial dentures
- Performs cleaning and root scaling on patients
- Manages patient charting
- Sets up and prepares dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines
- Takes digital radiographs
- Sterilizes instruments and sets up and prepares dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines
- Required — Associate's degree in dental hygiene
- Completion of a two-year accredited dental hygiene program
- Required — Indiana State Dental Hygienist Licensure upon date of hire
- Required — Radiology License upon date of hire
- Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills

This role requires sedentary work as well as extended durations of moving about the workplace. It requires the ability to move objects and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and the ability to discern between various objects and devices and to position patients. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
