Our private practice office is seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental team! In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing dental cleanings, assessments, and preventive treatments. • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current health status in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Take and interpret dental radiographs ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post‑treatment instructions to foster long‑term oral health habits.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix, ensuring documentation review for completeness.
• Follow strict infection control procedures, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of instruments, to uphold safety standards in the dental office.

• Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
• Proven experience in dental office settings, with familiarity in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively.
• Teamwork is essential to help the office run smoothly on a daily basis.
