Note: We are looking to fill one Full-time eBranch MSR opening at this time, wherein the employee could be based in Wabash or Auburn, IN. This position is in a call center environment.
RoleTo assist members and potential members remotely with their requests in a courteous and professional manner. To be a source of information regarding accounts and credit union products, services, and procedures for members and other credit union employees.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Assists members with account inquiries and service requests such as balances, transaction questions, posting errors, copy requests, check ordering, debit card questions & activations, and online/mobile service questions.
- Processes transactions for members such as stop payments, transfers between accounts, loan payments, and Visa payments.
- Assists members with opening, closing and maintaining consumer savings, checking, certificates, IRA's, and HSA's remotely via the telephone, online account opening software, or using other remote software platforms.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells products and services to members.
- Ensures that person, organization, and account information is properly recorded and updated as needed in various databases including Core, card processing, IRA/HSA, and document retention systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- One to three years of new accounts or related financial services experience
- High School Diploma or HSE
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent member service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
Standard position hours are Monday through Friday 8:15-5 and Saturday 8:45-12 (1-2 Saturdays off per month). When scheduled to work Saturday morning, the employee will standardly have a 1/2 day off during the same calendar week.
