Elevate our paint department as a key player in our finishing team. We're on the lookout for a painter, an artistic visionary to transform spaces into captivating environments. The role involves traveling nationwide for mural projects and occasionally internationally. Join Creative Works as a Traveling Mural Artist and be the creative force behind our dynamic team.

• Familiar with airbrushes, airless spray guns, and other tools and methods.
• Able to read a color chart and mix colors and hues.
• Capable of painting large-scale pieces such as murals or theater-like stage sets.
• Team mentality, contributes to critiques, gives and receives constructive criticism.
• Able to move heavy objects (50+ lbs) and lift, crouch, reach as needed.
• Can paint faux finishes (wood graining, marbleizing, aging, etc.).
• Can airbrush or paint 2D/3D fields and props.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Works productively under changing creative processes and rigorous time management.
• Has a portfolio of work ready to show.
• Can paint while on a scissor lift or ladder at various heights.
• Maintains artistic consistency following the design plan and direction.
• Will travel to client locations throughout the USA and possibly abroad on a rotating basis; travel will be 4‑7 days at a time with all expenses paid.
• Estimated travel time: 50% of the period (about one week on the road, one week in shop during busy seasons).

• Full‑time, hourly, non‑exempt
• 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday (overtime possible)

* This is a traveling position. During non‑travel times, the role is onsite at our facility on the southwest side of Indianapolis, IN near I-465 & Sam Jones Expressway.
