Master of Ceremonies

Overview

Enchanted Celebrations seeks an experienced Master of Ceremonies to energize wedding events. As the MC, you will welcome guests, lead line dances, manage music playlists, and create a memorable atmosphere for couples.

The Master of Ceremonies is responsible for welcoming and energizing all guests at the event. This is executed by having an upbeat personality, encouraging participation, uplifting mood, and enhancing the overall wedding experience. Hours vary depending on event needs.

• Comfortable using a microphone and addressing a large crowd; vocally energetic
• Outgoing personality; high energy, sense of humor
• Self‑directed individual
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast‑paced environment
• Lead interactive line dances upon request
• Follow client playlists and other preferences

• Must have wedding MC and DJ experience
• Commitment to customer satisfaction with excellent verbal communication skills
• Customer service background
• Requires thorough knowledge of all genres of music and cultures
• Must own and be able to transport professional DJ gear; reliable transportation is a must
• Knowledge of how to set up lights/projectors/up lighting/monogram lighting and other DJ equipment
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to lead line dances
• Must be willing to audition regardless of experience level

• Laptop with full music library
• DJ controller/mixer with professional DJ software
• PA system to accommodate up to 250 guests
• Handheld wireless microphone
• Clean‑looking DJ facade
• Two basic multicolor dance floor lights
• Separate ceremony PA system with wireless microphone
• Back up gear for all of the above

• Over 700 weddings a year; unlimited growth opportunities as MC
• Experience with venues across NJ, PA, DE, MD, CT, RI, and NYC metro area
• Supportive and professional team handles all pre‑ and post‑event logistics
• Flexible travel preferences; adjust desired locations anytime
• Build a portfolio from every wedding

The Master of Ceremonies is an independent contractor position; compensation details will be disclosed in the offer letter.
