The Residential Construction Project Manager will oversee multiple ground-up residential construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for schedule management, budget control, quality assurance, and subcontractor coordination.
You will work cross-functionally with trades, vendors, engineers, and internal leadership to ensure every project meets Neu Real Estate Group’s standards for quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution- Manage multiple residential new construction projects simultaneously
- Lead full project lifecycle from pre-construction through final walk-through
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules
- Monitor project budgets, job costs, and change orders
- Drive weekly site meetings and progress reporting
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
- Ensure scopes of work are executed to specification
- Maintain strong trade partner relationships
- Resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays and cost overruns
- Perform quality control inspections at all phases
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and permitting requirements
- Maintain job site safety standards and documentation
- Track KPIs and maintain accurate project records
- 2+ years of residential construction project management experience
- Proven success managing ground-up residential builds
- Strong knowledge of building codes, permitting, and inspections
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and subcontractors
- Proficiency with construction project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Coachable, growth-minded, and process-oriented
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in production home building or residential development
- Established subcontractor network in the Indianapolis market
