Gilliatte General Contractors seeks an effective, take‑charge Construction Project Manager who can see the big picture and execute on needed objectives. The role requires self‑motivation and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Estimating experience is mandatory.

The role involves reviewing commercial construction bid documents, creating strategic plans, and completing accurate bids:

• Preparing and maintaining online plan room and onsite sets
• Locating and coordinating subcontractor bids (we do not self‑perform work)
• Creating scopes of work from bid documents
• Creating vendor lists and sending invitations to bid
• Maintaining communication with subcontractors, vendors, and owners
• Reviewing bids for complete scope and accuracy
• Preparing owner bid with construction team for submission
• Developing and maintaining business relationships with subcontractors and vendors to increase bid opportunities

• Five years of commercial construction experience (strongly preferred) with a record in bids, estimates, and building projects
• Documented success in commercial construction, including ground‑up experience
• Well organized and self‑motivated
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to lead proposal development timely and successfully
• Skill in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto Desk Plan Grid, basic take‑off, and estimating software

• Personnel management responsibilities
• 40+ hours per week; schedule dependent on project status
• Construction site environments (outdoor construction site)
• Moderate safety risk
• Deadline‑driven requirements

Compensation: $85,000.00 – $ per year
