HSE Safety Coordinator - Micon Group, Inc.
Indianapolis, IN
MICON Group, Inc. is a large, diversified utility contractor focused on safety, quality and responsible infrastructure projects. This role supports in-house HSE programs to advance critical infrastructure projects with emphasis on safety and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive compliance programs tailored to each company and serve as a resource for compliance questions or concerns.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment; work independently with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
- 5+ years of experience within a construction safety role
- 2+ years of experience with construction safety management
- OSHA 500 certification
- Frequent national travel, nearly 75%, which may include extended durations; ability to commit to long-term onsite projects
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Previous experience working with the Army Corp of Engineers and/or on municipal projects (desired)
- You like to surround yourself with dedicated, value-driven people
