As a Tower Foreman (Structural Mod Welder), you will develop new skills, work in a safety‑minded environment, and help us provide the highest level of quality service to our customers and communities while maintaining our commitment to safety.
Responsibilities- Lead daily site construction work to ensure the crew meets production goals.
- Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew.
- Understand and implement Mas Tec Communications Group (MNS) Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA
10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). - Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites.
- Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and crew.
- Implement job instructions provided by leadership and compile site‑specific closeout documentation.
- Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces and coordinate with customer representatives.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and actively train/promote learning for all crew members.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition.
- Validate daily timesheets for management.
- Serve as a mentor to new less‑experienced technicians.
- Travel 100 % of the time and climb up to 300 ft.

- Hands‑on approach to solving hard problems.
- Looking for long‑term projects.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
- Expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- WSA certification is a plus.
- Job‑related certifications (First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment).
- Organizational, computer, and communication skills.
- Can read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company policy.
- Ability to maintain FDOT logbooks (training provided).
- Ability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures.
- Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
- Proficient in managing paperwork (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Fit and in good physical condition.
- Can climb towers, lift up to 50 lbs, and work up to 12 hours.
- Compensation: $28‑35 DOE.
