Holder Construction is seeking applicants for the position of Laborer for our project located in Indianapolis, IN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of teamwork, the ability to work independently on assignments, handle multiple projects at one time while remaining flexible, and work within tight deadlines.

Laborer job duties/responsibilities include loading/unloading deliveries, handling and moving job‑site materials, cleaning and preparing work spaces, digging, assisting a safety professional, assisting carpenters, and performing a variety of job‑site operations.

An ideal candidate for this position will possess 1 year of construction experience and an understanding of safety and general constructability knowledge. This position will provide primary support to our field supervision and must demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks, maintain professionalism, and use critical thinking to solve issues.

Qualified candidates must be agile and mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods, use fingers, hands, and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects, climb ladders and scaffolds, work on uneven surfaces at heights, read and write, and see and hear well either naturally or with correction. Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50–100 lbs.

Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA‑compliant safety environment, work outside, and be able to work overtime and weekend hours. Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
