What You’ll Do- Conduct advanced market research and provide accurate cost data and supplier contacts.
- Lead procurement estimating staff in daily activities, prioritizing tasks and ensuring quality.
- Develop and implement procurement tracking and delivery practices.
- Analyze market and industry trends to guide decision‑making and adjust procurement strategies.
- Establish strong vendor relationships and monitor performance.
- Support preconstruction teams during the estimating phases.
- Coordinate material handoffs and conduct site meetings with field crews.
- Maintain and update estimating tools including Plan Swift templates and reporting tools.
- Evaluate project closeouts and compare material usage with estimates.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.
- Minimum 4 years in a procurement or estimating role in the construction industry.
- Alternatively, 6 years with an associate degree or 8 years with a GED.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, project drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Plan Swift.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to mentor peers and manage complex projects.
