Project Manager (Estimator)- Libs Paving Job Summary

Works directly with internal and external customers to prepare estimate packages for asphalt prep and paving as well as concrete prep and installation. Performs project management for commercial as well as INDOT and KYTC projects. Works with Superintendents to ensure projects are completed to customer specifications. Provides support to the customer from estimate to completion of the project including AR follow‑up.

• Look for and bid on projects as assigned. Utilize daily publications, websites and customer leads for projects to bid.
• Order and review plans and specifications from the customer.
• Work closely with all customers assigned to the project. Work with the superintendent if issues arise beyond the scope of the project.
• Send bid(s) to the customer and follow up, tracking and recording results.
• Verify that the bid proposal matches the customer contract.
• Prepare complete cost estimates for labor and material within set deadlines.
• Coordinate with scheduling to ensure the project is completed to customer specifications and timelines.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, supervise and control the execution of all aspects of the project per Libs Paving policies and procedures. Work with superintendents to plan, organize and direct project activities.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of Libs Paving policy and contract specifications.
• Communicate with superintendents to discuss work procedures, resources, complaints and project problems.
• Follow all policies and procedures established by Libs Paving Co., Inc.
• Maintain attention to detail.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Be available for continuing education and training when required.
• Maintain a high level of discipline and professionalism as a representative of Libs Paving Co.
