About the RoleThe Camp Aide in Training Lead will lead program aide curriculum to campers interested in becoming an aide at camp.
What You Will DoThe Camp Aide in Training Lead will lead and deliver Girl Scout program to campers interested in becoming aides, conduct program planning and delivery, help to create new and exciting programs, teach appreciation of the outdoors, guide activities and experiences through use of Girl Scout planning and the Girl Scout program, coordinate program activities for specific areas, work with Campers, Aides, Volunteer Directors, Volunteer Staff and other Staff, assume responsibility for physical health and safety and the mental welfare of the campers, be responsible for unit cleaning/activity at the end of each session and at the end of camp, act as ambassador for the unit and activity area, assist Tag Staff, Math and Science Center, and Kitchen Staff when not facilitating program activity/planning, coordinate schedules for aides to participate within units alongside the Camp Director and volunteer leading the week of participation, keep records and make reports as required, make every effort to have a strong, cohesive program to provide the best program and atmosphere for the campers, follow camp rules and regulations, help when needed at other camp activities, help in the kitchen with clean up and serving when needed, clean and store equipment at end of summer.

Requirements – Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand on your feet for an extended period.
