Location: Indianapolis

We’re looking for an experienced Benefits Consultant to manage and grow an existing portfolio of employer clients while delivering strategic advisory support across employee benefits programs. This role focuses on guiding clients through benefit strategy, financial analysis, plan renewals, and ongoing service delivery, while serving as a trusted advisor on evolving market trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute benefit strategy and renewal approaches tailored to complex client needs
  • Partner with internal service teams to support renewals, market evaluations, open enrollment planning, and post-renewal analysis
  • Define service scope and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders
  • Establish and communicate timelines, priorities, and updates throughout the renewal and service cycle
  • Maintain accountability for client outcomes, including financial performance and overall satisfaction
  • Oversee onboarding and implementation for new clients in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and a strong client experience
  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional solutions or services
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and vendor partners
  • Stay current on benefit plan offerings, market dynamics, and industry developments
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of client data within internal systems
  • Maintain working knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements impacting employer-sponsored benefit plans
Experience & Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting or a related advisory role
  • Strong understanding of employer-sponsored health and ancillary benefit programs
  • Familiarity with benefit quoting, renewal processes, and analytical tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with CRM or database platforms
  • Active Life & Health insurance license
