The Impact of a Sales Excellence Leadership Coach at CoupaThe Revenue Enablement Leadership Coach is a strategic partner responsible for driving transformational growth across our leadership teams. This role sits within our Global Revenue Enablement & Sales Excellence team and is dedicated to providing high-impact, one-on-one and group coaching to our front-line, mid-level, and senior leaders. The ideal candidate is an experienced coach who is passionate about unlocking the potential in others and is committed to a results-driven approach.
WhatYou'll Do
- Strategic
Coaching:
Serve as a dedicated coach to revenue leaders, focusing on transformational development that goes beyond transactional skill-building. You will help leaders navigate challenges, enhance their leadership presence, and drive significant behavioral change. - ICF Certification & Practice: Maintain or actively work toward International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification, adhering to the highest ethical and professional standards in your coaching practice.
- Sales Excellence Programs: Collaborate with the Enablement team to design and deliver scalable coaching programs and workshops focused on critical leadership competencies.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with People Operations and leadership to identify coaching needs and opportunities across the organization. You will be a trusted advisor, offering insights and guidance on leadership development strategies.
- Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of coaching methodologies and leadership development trends. You will share your expertise and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth within the company. Coach for application of sales best practices including forecasting with GROW and MEDDPICC.
- Measurement & Impact: Define and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of coaching engagements. This includes:
- Goal attainment and progress against mutually defined coaching programs and objectives.
- Qualitative feedback from coaching clients on their growth and the value of the engagement.
- Business outcomes
, such as improvements in team performance, employee engagement, and retention within the coached leader's teams. - Travel: This role may require occasional domestic and international travel for in-person coaching sessions, workshops, and team meetings.
- ICF certification (ACC, PCC, or MCC) or actively working toward it is required.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales and coaching or leadership development role, preferably within a corporate or software company environment.
- Prior sales experience in a quota carrying role, expert knowledge of MEDDPICC and other sales methodologies.
- Proven experience providing one-on-one and group coaching to a diverse group of leaders.
- Deep understanding of transformational vs. transactional coaching methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect coaching outcomes to business results.
