We are seeking a Region Sales Trainer to deliver and reinforce comprehensive training programs, coach sales professionals, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and high achievement across multiple geographic locations in the United States.
This role plays a key part in ensuring consistency in sales methodologies, product knowledge, and customer service excellence throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is an engaging facilitator and detail-oriented trainer with a proven track record of driving improved sales performance through effective coaching and training. This position will facilitate both in-person and virtual instructor-led training and requires up to 70% travel across the assigned region.
The assigned region for this position is the Midwest covering the following branches:
Dayton, OH, Evansville, IN, Covington, KY, Moline, IL, Indianapolis, IN, Louisville, KY, and Columbus, OH.

Key Responsibilities- Lead engaging and interactive training sessions across multiple formats, including in-person workshops, virtual webinars, and other digital learning platforms, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Conducts in-field ride-alongs with roofing sales representatives to provide real-time coaching, evaluate performance, and reinforce effective sales techniques and customer engagement strategies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to sales representatives on the Best Choice Roofing Selling System, identifying opportunities for growth and reinforcing best practices.
- Partner with new roofing sales representatives to deliver continued field support and coaching following completion of the training program, ensuring alignment with company standards and sales objectives.
- Provide ongoing support to regional sales teams by conducting on-site training sessions, observing field performance, and coaching sales leadership and representatives to reinforce learning and best practices.
- Develop and mentor regional and local sales leaders to enhance their ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Production, and other departments to ensure sales teams have access to current resources, tools, and messaging that support consistent performance and brand alignment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and performance outcomes, providing leadership with regular updates on training effectiveness and business impact.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Best Choice Roofing’s products, services, and value propositions to effectively communicate and train sales teams on key differentiators.
- Leverage CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and virtual training platforms to enhance learning experiences, and train team members to maximize these technologies effectively.
- Stay current with emerging sales training methodologies, industry trends, and roofing innovations to continuously refine training content and delivery.
- High school Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Must reside within assigned area.
- Must complete our Certified Roofing Specialist training successfully within 30 days of acceptance.
- Demonstrated success in delivering impactful sales training programs that drive measurable results.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement platforms.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify training needs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the United States up to 70% of the time
