Automotive Service Technician

Technician Opportunity – Tom Wood Audi, Indianapolis, IN

Tom Wood Audi is looking for skilled, dedicated Technicians to join our fast-paced, customer-focused team! If you’re detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about automotive service, we want to hear from you.

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance quickly and efficiently
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
• Document all services accurately and maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures
• Communicate clearly with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
• Stay current on automotive technology and repair techniques
• Collaborate with team members to keep workflow smooth
• Perform minor repairs like air filter, wiper blade, and light bulb replacements
• Participate in ongoing training and development

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience
• ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer training preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with modern tools and equipment
• Team player with a commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship
• Knowledge of shop equipment (wheel/tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostics, AC systems, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
