JOB SUMMARY

The Underwriting Administrative Assistant will contribute to the achievement of the corporate goals relating to growth, profit, efficiency, renewal retention and provide adequate service to our constituents. This position will interface with sales department, account services team, and producers regularly to see various job responsibilities through to completion.

    Corporate Office in Indianapolis, IN.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implementing coverage within administration system
  • Process enrollments including new and renewal members, changes, cancellations, and terminations
  • Assist UW with administrating special handling instructions by alerts and documents, calculating prior coverage dates, review applications for missing information
  • Work with Premium Accounting team on related premium issues.
  • Assist brokers, customers, sales and account services with questions via phone, in person or email
  • Push workflow through various queues and imaging systems
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous insurance experience, preferably in Administration
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong real‑time decision‑making skills with high accuracy
  • Ability to respond efficiently and effectively to internal & external requests
