Orders all permits for oversize/over height shipments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Keeps up a construction restriction map daily.
- Prepares the routing for all trips keeping width and height in mind.
- Orders all state and county permits, some done online, some faxed to permit service or county offices.
- Monitors all annual permits issued to the drivers and sometimes ordering a new one if needed.
- Handles phone calls from drivers about routing issues.
- Prepares permit changes when needed because of trucks going down or house not measuring what factory reports.
- Packs trip envelopes with the permits needed plus trip sheets.
- Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer SkillsKnowledge of Windows, spreadsheet software, and ability to use online tools.
