Role Overview
:
This position processes court documents received from all Indiana courts and other jurisdictions. Candidates should possess data entry skills, have the ability to sit for prolonged periods, and be detail-oriented.
Salary Statement
:
The salary for this position typically starts at $29,588.00.
A Day in the Life:The essential functions of this role include:
- Supporting the daily operations of the organization by performing general office tasks.
- Communicating with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate, or explain information.
- Reviewing files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
- Typing forms, correspondence, memos, and other materials.
- Maintaining filing systems for efficient recordkeeping and easy retrieval.
- Checking emails, sending faxes, making copies, and updating computer databases.
- Answering telephones, providing information to callers, taking messages, or transferring calls.
- Training other staff members to perform work activities, such as using computer applications.
- Completing tasks or projects assigned by supervisors in a timely manner.

What You'll Need for Success:The ideal candidate should minimally have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of clerical experience applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role.
Requirements for consideration include:
- Working knowledge of general office functions and clerical procedures
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with effective prioritization
- Attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, case management, and database tools
- Ability to handle sensitive documents and information discreetly
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to provide professional customer service
- Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
This role may include supervising staff members.
