Office Administrator

John Ross & Sons Ltd. is a fourth generation, family owned, scrap metal recycler. The company is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 80 years. John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all scrap metals. We are currently looking for an Office Administrator to join our team at Bill Stewart's in Westville, NS!

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the essential functions of the Office Administrator will include, but are not limited to:

• Document Processing
• Data Entry
• Cash Dispenser and Reconciliation
• General Office Filing
• Assist operations manager with administrative tasks
• Be a central part of the team
• Keeping work area clean and organized

• 2-4 years experience in a busy administrative role
• Experience in a cash environment; able to multi task in a fast-past industrial environment with a positive and friendly manner
• Experience with MS Office applications, Excel, Windows 10 and other software is a must
• Highly organized with an ability to prioritize a changing work load
• Attention to detail is a must
• Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable will be considered an asset
• Candidates must pass a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment
