RLD Associates, Inc. has an opening for a full‑time, home‑based premium auditor. You will work independently in the field, meeting with various businesses to conduct insurance premium audits. The audit involves reviewing accounting records and conducting thorough interviews to validate the assignment of the insured’s business type and the associated premium.

• Review audit requests.
• Prioritize inventory and schedule workload.
• Contact named insureds to schedule appointments; travel to businesses to conduct on‑site interviews and examine records.
• Research and apply appropriate manual rules and classifications to comply with insurance industry standards.
• Prepare written audit reports that include data analysis, calculations, and classifications.

• Ability to work independently.
• Dependable and self‑motivated.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Professional and pleasant personality.
• Preferred:
  Two‑year degree in accounting or related subject. Experience in bookkeeping, payroll preparation, and commercial insurance expertise considered.
• Reliable transportation when travel is necessary.
