Property Accountant – Indianapolis, IN
Compensation: $75,000–$100,000 depending on experience
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting packages for internal stakeholders and ownership groups.
- Maintain accurate general ledger activity, ensuring proper coding, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Partner with operational teams to resolve discrepancies, support budgeting efforts, and provide financial insights.
- Assist with audits, lender reporting, tax preparation, and other external financial requirements as needed.
- Experience in property accounting, real estate accounting, or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting or property management software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
