Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 6+ months

Pay Rate: $28.84/hr. on W2

Shift Timing: 1st shift

• Consolidates invoices for supply chain using Concur
• Provides administrative support to the accounting and supply chain members
• Applies general knowledge of accounting/financial policies and procedures when responding to specific questions and non-routine problem resolution
• Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
• Utilize MS office suite, SAP, Concur and other applications
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and 4 years of related work experience OR education/work experience equivalent
• Working experience with Excel, SAP, and Concur is highly desired
• Ability to learn and apply basic accounting concepts, to follow company policies and procedures, and to apply appropriate tools of the accounting profession to accurately complete standard accounting tasks
• Ability to use established formats to produce accurate, appropriate accounting documentation
• May be required to present accounting data
• Must have demonstrated computer literacy with knowledge of computer accounting software and applications
• Must have good interpersonal skills including ability to communicate clearly with other professionals

• H/S Diploma AND 0-1+ years of relevant experience
• 1+ years in experience using SAP
• 1+ years of experience in a supplier-facing role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience leading small teams
• Ability to regularly interface with internal business partners and vendors/suppliers
• Experience using SAP Concur
• 3+ years of experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry with an emphasis in aviation support services
