Your Tasks- Key Responsibilities:
Provide actionable cost insights and scenario analysis to influence operational and strategic decisions. - Advanced Cost Analysis:
Analyze manufacturing cost structures (material, labor, overhead) and identify cost drivers impacting profitability. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Industrial Engineers and Operations to validate cost assumptions, optimize processes, and improve efficiency. - Performance Management:
Own cost KPIs and lead monthly reviews with plant leadership, linking operational metrics (scrap, yield, machine utilization) to financial outcomes. - Budgeting & Forecasting:
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations, including predictive modeling for cost trends. - Standard Costing & Inventory:
Maintain accurate standard costs, inventory valuation, and ensure compliance with corporate policies. - New Product Launch Support:
Develop cost models for new product introductions and engineering changes, ensuring profitability targets are met. - Digitalization & Analytics:
Utilize advanced tools (Power BI, Tableau) to visualize cost trends and support digital initiatives in cost tracking and reporting. - Continuous Improvement:
Drive cost-saving opportunities through lean initiatives, process improvements, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA Preferred)
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in Tier 1 automotive or complex manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost drivers, and lean principles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar); experience with BI tools preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills with a proactive, results-oriented mindset
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement
- Experience managing quality, safety and environmental management systems preferred
