Our client located on the Southside of Indy is looking to add a newly created Staff Accountant responsible for general accounting duties, month end functions and special accounting projects. Great culture and low stress environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepares general ledger entries on a regular basis
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Balances daily cash activity
- Assists in month end close process
- Assists with preparation of year-end close
- Compiles data and prepares various reports
- Works with Controller on special projects and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting,
- 2+ years of experience in accounting.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
