Accounts Receivable Clerk
Noble County
Compensation: $40,000 - $41,600
Actively hiring and 100% onsite
We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk who doesn’t shy away from a little persistence. Building strong business relationships, follow up with confidence, and keep the cash flowing—all while maintaining strong attention to detail and professionalism.
Responsibilities of Accounts Receivable Clerk
- Manage the full B2B collections process, from invoicing to payment, including applying payments and issuing credits
- Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve billing questions or disputes with clients
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to ensure smooth accounts receivable operations and accurate record-keeping
- Provide regular reporting to management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
Key Qualifications for Accounts Receivable Clerk
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience, with a focus on B2B collections
- Strong communication skills and a professional, persuasive approach to resolving outstanding balances
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and experience using accounting software (Net Suite, Quick Books, SAP, or similar)
- Customer-service mindset with a collections focus, comfortable managing accounts and clearing balances efficiently
